The Tagua nut is a type of palm tree seed, found in the Peruvian Amazon Jungle. The seeds mature into a hard, white ‘ivory-like’ substance, and are harvested without damaging either the plant, or it's natural surroundings. Dyed in bright lushious colours this long necklace combines the natural seeds with knotted cotton cord in a striking range with an interesting story. Hand made by the Zoe fair trade project in Lima, Peru.
